Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooter video game that is developed by Blizzard Entertainment. In Overwatch, players are placed on one of two teams, each of which is composed of six players. The players are able to select from a list of more than 30 “heroes”, or characters. Each character has a unique set of capabilities, weak points, and strengths. The objective of the game is to secure and defend various positions specific to each map or deliver a payload across the map in a limited amount of time. Each character also has several different skins and victory poses that can be unlocked. Multiple game modes are available as well, like “Arcade” and “Competitive Ranked”. After the series released in May 2016, it was met with incredibly positive reception.
