OtapediaPokemon - Nendoroid

Pokémon is a widely popular series of games created by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori, and owned by the Pokémon Company (Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures). The first two Pokémon games, Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green were released in Japan on the Nintendo Game Boy in February 1996. The series has been incredibly successful, with over $90 billion in total revenue across the franchise, making it the highest-grossing media franchise of all time.

The series revolves around the concept of Pokémon, strange creatures that can be tamed by Pokémon Trainers, to be used to battle other Pokémon. The goal of the games is to train your Pokémon to be capable of defeating the various Pokémon gym leaders in different towns across the region to acquire their badges in order to gain access to the Pokémon League. This allows you to fight the Pokémon League Champion, whose title you inherit after defeating them.

The Pokémon series has been adapted into various other mediums, the most notable of which is an animated series that has been running since 1997, and a trading card game that began in 1996. Many movies of the Pokémon series have been released, 24 of those being animated movies, and one live-action movie, Detective Pikachu. The Pokémon series has also generated a large quantity of Pokémon merchandise.

Thanks to the high attention to the Pokémon series there have been a large number of merchandise produced. Many of the cute Pokémon characters have been made into soft toy plushies allowing a wide range of customers to enjoy the product.
